Mitsubishi's 4WD system allows you to change traction modes on the move.
The Easy Select 4WD system has three settings, 2WD which is for on-road driving. 4WD High Range which is for off-road conditions (The Triton is the one of the only utes that can be driven on tarseal.) The third setting is 4WD low range which provides the vehicle's maximum traction off-road.
The Super Select 4WD system is found on the VRX Triton and has four settings. 2H (2WD high range) for regular road driving this setting gives you power, solid handling and the best economy. 4H (full-time 4WD) If the weather or the road is not too flash, the ability to drive in high-range 4WD is a serious safety boost. 4HLC (4WD High-Range) When you are off-road this setting distributes power to all four wheels equally. 4LLC (4WD Low Range with Locked Centre Differential) This mode sends all the Triton's power and traction to the wheels.
