Volkswagen's Front Assist.
Volkswagen's Front Assist or Front Collision Warning System has sensors in the front which helps monitor traffic and can alert you to a potential collision. If a collision is imminent, Autonomous Emergency Braking can help brake the car.
Volkswagen's Side Assist.
Volkswagen's Side Assist provides assistance when you want to change lanes from speeds of 10km/h upwards. Sensors in the rear of the vehicle monitor traffic and should they detect any road users in your blind spot or vehicles approaching quickly from behind, the system will alert you via a warning light within the door mirror housing.
Volkswagen's Park Pilot.
Volkswagen's Park Pilot has sensors that can help you back out of or drive into parking or tight spaces. Audible signals as well as a visual display of sensors through the vehicles infotainment system display how much room the driver has behind the vehicle and in some cases in front of the vehicle when parking.
Volkswagen's Adaptive Cruise Control.
Volkswagen's optional Adaptive Cruise Control system helps maintain a preset distance from the vehicle in front of you. If the vehicle in front of you speeds up or slows down the ACC system will detect the change and adjust your vehicles speed accordingly.
Volkswagen's Rear Traffic Alert.
Volkswagen's Rear Traffic Alert means awkward Blind Spots when reversing are no longer. The sensors in the rear of the vehicle alert you to vehicles crossing your path when in reverse and can brake for you if need be. This prevents the Driver from reversing into busy streams of traffic and potentially resulting in a collision.
